CIFFA provides in-class and online dangerous goods certification options. You can feel confident that our training and certification meet all Canadian and industry standards, including IMDG and Transport Canada.

Our Courses

Air Dangerous Goods
This course certifies freight forwarders, shippers and operators. Learners will receive a certificate in accepting and processing dangerous goods that is compliant with Transport Canada requirements. The course length varies from 12 to 16 hours depending on the delivery method selected.

Ocean Dangerous Goods
This course is acceptable for all Freight Forwarders, and certifies the student to ship dangerous goods by sea. 8 to 12 hours to complete.

Road Dangerous Goods
This course meets all Transport Canada requirements for training on the transport of dangerous goods by road. It is acceptable for Freight Forwarders and Truck Drivers. 4 to 6 hours to complete.
